This project brings together two distinct film promotional campaigns, each with its unique creative challenge. The first campaign is for a 2005 feature film directed by Renato Sircilli, Fôlego (Breathless). The director required an immersive poster that deeply reflects the protagonist’s psychological state, capturing the internal conflicts and emotions that drive the narrative.
The second campaign is for the experimental short film Cinema for the Dead (2024), which explores the theme of grief from an unconventional perspective—through the eyes of those who are typically voiceless.
Goals: Create a poster design that not only markets the film but also serves as an introspective visual narrative of the protagonist’s inner turmoil and psychological complexity. Use imagery, color, and composition to evoke a sense of mystery and intensity, inviting the audience to explore the character's inner world. Ensure that all visual elements align with the film’s experimental nature and its deep exploration of mourning and remembrance.
Deliverables: A high-resolution, immersive poster design suitable for both digital and print media. A comprehensive creative brief detailing the concept, visual elements, and emotional tone intended to mirror the protagonist’s psychological state. Adaptable design assets for use in various promotional contexts such as cinema displays, billboards, and social media campaigns.
